Minutes accepted as presented.
Treasurer’s Report: Keith Tarnovich completed the financial review for 2025 and Doug Whitehead posted compliance on the BHS website. Income: chapter dues from BHS arrived; Expenses: Mike recommended a new account category for the website costs. D & O insurance runs through July 17 so we should get a new bill for about $350 soon. Next donation to St. Paul’s will be in early July. Nothing else of note. Treasurer’s report was accepted unanimously.

Old Business: The latest developments in dinner/show planning were reported to board. Mike Hazlett procured a $500 gift certificate from James Free and is working on a donated massage.
Xenia Corn Roast Request for help: help with cooking the corn, sausage, helping put up tents ahead of time, help with registration; help with firewood; the event is on August 1. Mike will ask the chapter, and if there is enough interest, we could have Jon send out an invitation to get signups. In a discussion, the board feels that we should help for the following reasons: it’s a sister chapter that has asked for help; they came to our event last year; we share members with them. Mike will bring it up at the break.
Evaluation of 2026 goals: 1. We have already increased our membership by 10%. 2. more outside gigs—we are trying to set up a 5th Monday sing out at Fairfield Commons and we have sing outs most every month until November. 3. Sponsorship program; we have some business support already and there is room for more.
We probably need a method to tract corporate memory
New Business:
Steve consented to set up a “workshop” demo during rehearsal next week to get people involved with the web site.
Mike H. son works for a firm that handles all things musical, risers, sound systems, etc. We ought to set up an account with this firm (Mike will supply name).
Greg will make another pitch for people to sell ads for the show.
